This experiment composed of 2 parts, the first part was to study growth performance of of steers with mean weight of 248.0 kgs that were grazed in the pasture either in the rate of 1 rai/head in the mature para rubber plantation or in the rate of 6 and 8 rai/head. The second part was studied the growth and yield of para rubber for 2 years (steers were allowed to graze only in the first year). RCBD was assigned for this experiment. The result of this experiment revealed that the growth of cattle that grazed in the pasture and in mature para rubber plantation gave non significant difference. The growth and the yield of para rubber in the para rubber plantation with and without grazing of steers, gave non significant difference. However, the steers that grazed in para rubber plantation consumed more concentrate feed than in the pasture due to the amount of grasses were lower than in the pasture which caused in higher cost of 1 kg gain weight and gave the highly significant difference (P LT 0.01). The grasses in para rubber plantation grew by themselves in the nature and no need to manage them. However, the grasses are considered as weed and we lose the cost for control them. So, grazing of steers in mature para rubber plantation can decrease the cost of weed control. Moreover, farmers will have the supplemental income apart from the para rubber.
