Study on effect of storage temperature, container and storage duration on germination, vigor and oil content of physic nut (Jatropha curcas. L.) Accession KUBP 74 was conducted at Suwan Wajokkasikit Field Crops Research Station, Pakchong Nakhonratchasima during March 2007-September 2008. Split-split plot in RCB design with 4 replications was employed. Main plot (T) was 2 levels of storage temperature,the levels of storage temperatures were room temperature and storage temperature of 13 deg C+-2 deg C. Sub plot (P) was 2 types of container,cloth bag and plastic bag. Sub-sub plot (S) was storage periods, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 months after storage. The results showed that, after storage, physic nut seeds which were stored in control room had higher percent germination, especially when stored for a longer time. The physic nut stored in cloth bag had higher percent germination than plastic bag, Germination at 12 months of storage of seed stored in ambient room was 72.3 and in 13 deg C+-2 deg C.45 percent RH was 78.3 percent. The seed in plastic bag had germination of 69.5 and 71.5 percent (ambient room and in 13 deg C+-2 deg C. 45 percent RH, respectively. There was an interaction among, temperature package and storage period of physic nut seed stored a long time in cloth bag and plastic bag had reduce percent oil of seed, accession KUBP 74 had average percent oil of seed 50.7 percent.
