Present study was designed to determine the effect of betaglucan (BG) and nucleotide on white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei Boone. Shrimp with average weight of 0.1g were fed with diets containing 0.01 percent betaglucan, 2 percent nucleotide and none of them (control) for 12 weeks at salinity 20 ppt. The result showed that average weight and feed conversion ratio of white shrimp fed 0.01 percent betaglucan and 2 percent nucleotide diets were significantly (P LT 0.05) higher than control diet. Survival and production of white shrimp fed 0.01 percent betaglucan diet were significantly (P LT 0.05) higher than the other treatments.
