Sanitary and parasitological estimation of the wastewater at Yerevan Aeration Station

The eggs of Ascaris lumbricoidies, A. suum, Toxocara canis, oncosphers of Taeniidae, cysts of Balantidium sp., and oocysts of Eimeria sp. have been found in the wastewater before and after cleaning Yerevan Aeration Station in 2004-2006. It is interesting to note that 61.3% of all found parasitic elements were A. lumbricoides eggs.
