Effects of herbal medicine Chanfukang on the leptin level and milk yield in dairy cows with syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis

Chinese. 为了观察产复康对产后气虚血瘀症奶牛Leptin和产后1-4周产奶量的变化,将58头产后奶牛分为气虚血瘀症组和临床健康组,两组下再设治疗组和对照组.气虚血瘀症治疗组和临床健康用药组,分别以0.5 g/kg、0.4 g/kg剂量口服产复康,连续5 d.试验表明产后奶牛血浆中leptin水平显著低于产前（P〈0.01）,且无论是产后健康奶牛还是气虚血瘀症奶牛,其血浆leptin水平随着产后时间的增加而逐渐升高.当奶牛产后出现气虚血瘀症后,其血浆leptin水平显著低于健康组（P〈0.05）,用产复康治疗5 d,其血浆leptin水平逐渐升高,到产后第10 d已与健康奶牛没有明显差异（P〉0.05）.在产后1,2,3,4周,气虚血瘀症治疗组的产奶量接近健康未用药组和健康用药组的水平（P〉0.05）,而气虚血瘀症对照组奶牛的产奶量低于气虚血瘀症治疗组、健康用药组和健康对照组（P〈0.001）,但乳脂率没有明显变化（P〉0.05）,表明产复康能够提高气虚血瘀症的产奶量但不影响乳脂率.[著者文摘]

The objectives of this study were to determine the effects of herbal medicine preparation Chanfukang on the leptin level and milk yields in postpartum dairy cows with syndrome of deficiency of vital energy and blood stasis （SDVBS） and clinical health ones. 58 dairy cows in postpartum were divided into SDVBS group and clinical health ones according to SDVBS criterion, both groups were furthermore subdivided into treatment and control group. Treatment groups were administrated orally with Chanfukang at the dose of 0.5 g/kg and 0.4 g/kg for 5 days respectively. The result showed that the level of plasma leptin in postpartum was lower than antepartum significantly. Not only in postpartum healthy cows but also in SDVBS ones,the 1 in postpartum, the ep le tin rised up along with the development of postpartum. Once SDVBS was occurrenced ptin level of SDVBS group were much lower than healthy ones obviously,and increased gradually by using Chanfukang. Treated 5 days later,there was no difference between the two groups at level of leptin in 10days. Simultaneously, the milk yields of SDVBS treatment group was close to healthy ones at postpartum weeks 1,2,3 4, the milk yields of SDVBS control group was lower than significantly healthy ones,and it was close to healthy ones at postpartum weeks 1,2,3 4,but the changes of milk fat rate are not observed in all groups. The results indicated that Changfukang could improve the milk yields in SD-VBS and not effect the milk fat rate.
