Control de nematodos en vivero de cafeto por medio de la solarización del suelo

Spanish; Castilian. Se evaluó la solarización de suelo para el control de nematodos en viveros de cafeto, en dos épocas del año (enero a febrero y agosto a septiembre). Se observó que se reduce significativamente la infestación de Meloidogyne incognita y M. mayaguensis y se presentan incrementos en los indicadores de crecimiento de la planta, pero no se elimina completamente la población del nematodo, por lo que no es recomendable su uso en la desinfección del suelo para viveros de cafeto, si no es combinado con otros medios de control.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. The soil solarization for the control of nematodes in coffee-tree nurseries was evaluated in two times of the year (January-February and August- September). It was observed that Meloidogyne incognita and M. mayaguensis infestation were reduced significantly and it was introduced increments in the growth indicators of the plant, but the population of the nematode is not eliminated completely, for the one which is not recommendable the soil solarization to eliminate the soil infection for coffee-tree nurseries, unless it be combined with other means of control.
