PLAN DE MEDIDAS PARA ATENUAR LOS ACCIDENTES Y ENFERMEDADES PROFESIONALES EN LAS ACTIVIDADES DE APROVECHAMIENTO FORESTAL EN LA PROVINCIA DE PINAR DEL RIO

En Cuba se trabaja y se controlan algunos datos relacionados con los accidentes y enfermedades ocupacionales en la rama forestal desde el punto de vista de la protección e higiene del trabajo, pero no ergonómico. Esta investigación es el resultado de estudios ergonométricos para la actividad de aprovechamiento forestal, realizados en las empresas forestales La Palma, Macurije y Minas de Matahambre, de la provincia de Pinar del Río, con el objetivo de elaborar un plan de medidas para reducir al máximo las enfermedades y accidentes que ocurren en las operaciones de aprovechamiento. Para ello fue necesario realizar un diagnóstico de los accidentes y enfermedades profesionales más frecuentes en la tala, desrame, despeje y carga, así como identificar las partes del cuerpo más afectadas en estas operaciones.

In Cuba, it is working and controlled some of the data related with the accidents and sicknesses that occure in forestry ingenering, from the point of view of protection and hygiene of the work, but not the ergonomic point of view. The present investigation is the result of ergonomic studies for the activity of Wood Harvesting realised in the logging or harvesting enterprises: La Palma, Macurije and Minas de Matahambre in the Pinar del Río Province, with the objective of formulating a plan of measures which can cause the maximum reduction of illnesses and accidents that occure in wood harvesting operations. For this it was necessary to carry out a diagnosis of the professional and most frequent accidents and illnesses that occurein the falling, branch removal, area clearing and transportation; also to identify the parts of the body that are most affected by this operations.
