ADICIONES AL CONOCIMIENTO DE LA RESERVA FLORISTICA MANEJADA MONTE GRANDE, MUNICIPIO DE GUAIMARO, CAMAGUEY, CUBA

Este trabajo aporta nuevos elementos al conocimiento del recurso florístico de Monte Grande, como parte de las investigaciones para establecer una estrategia de reforestación sucesional en las zonas de mayor afectación antrópica, con vistas a la recuperación de los ecosistemas boscosos más alterados. Las colectas se realizaron en 13 estaciones que incluyeron diferentes tipos de formaciones vegetales, entre ellas bosques siempre verdes micrófilos, bosques y matorrales secundarios, vegetación secundaria, ruderal, segetal y palustre. Se tomaron además plantas de dos comunidades acuáticas de agua dulce como complemento a la información de la flora del área que antes no se había tenido en cuenta. El 67% de la riqueza de taxones se encuentra en los bosques siempreverdes micrófilos conoci-dos como La Majagua y Los Robles. Constituyen reportes nuevos para la localidad 73 taxones. El índice de endemismo es de l10,7%; de ellos los pancubanos correspon-den al 64,7%, y la estación 11 tiene la mayor representatividad de endémicos. El 76% de los taxones son útiles al hombre.

This work contributes new elements to the knowledge of the floristic resource of Monte Grande, as part of the researchs to establish astrategy of sucesional reforestation in the areas of more antropic affectation, with a view to the recovery of the affected forests ecosystems. The collections were carried out in 13 stations that included different types of vegetation amongthem: evergreen microphyll forests; secondary forests and thickets; secondary, ruderal, segetal and marshy vegetation. Plants of two freshwater communities were taken ascomplement to the information of the flora, because had not been collected before. 67% of taxa richness is in evergreen microphyll forests known as La Majagua and Los Robles. They constitute new reports for the town 73 taxa. The endemism index is of 10.7%; of them the pancubans corresponds to 64.7%, and the station 11 has the biggest representativeness of endemic. 76% of the taxa are useful to the man.
