En este trabajo se realiza un estudio partiendo de informaciones del Instituto de Suelos, del Ministerio de la Agricultura, y otros métodos empíricos, con el objetivo de proponer una metodología que permita restablecer en alguna medida los suelos, ya improductivos y sali- nizados, próximos al manglar del sector costero Coloma-Las Canas. Para ello se determinan, mediante matriz de impacto y otros estudios, cuáles son los factores, fundamentalmente antrópicos, que incidieron en el problema. Entre los principales resultados se cuentan el plano del lugar con líneas de salinidad (décadas del ochenta, noventa y actual, así como línea de salinización de acuífero de 1990), la matriz de impactos y la propuesta metodológica de restablecimiento de tales suelos.

In the present work a study is done by means reports from the Soils Institute of the Agriculture Ministy and other empires methods, its objective is to propose a methodology that permits to improve the unfmctful and salinized soils next to the mangroue swamps in Las Canas, part of La Coloma coast. To do this, the factors that caused the problem are determined through impact matrir and others studies, mainly fhe antropicones. Among the principal results obtained are: A plane from the place with salinity lines (8O's, 90's and nowadays) as well as the aquiferous salinity line (1998), impact matric and a methodological proposal for the improuement of those soils.
