Efecto de Trichoderma viride como estimulante de la germinación, en el desarrollo de posturas de cafetos y el control de Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn

El ensayo se realizó en el vivero de la Estación de Investigaciones de Café Jibacoa, provincia de Villa Clara, en el período comprendido entre noviembre de 1999 y junio del 2000, a una altura de 340 msnm, con el objetivo de determinar el efecto de Trichoderma viride sobre la germinación, el control de Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn y el desarrollo de posturas de Coffea arabica L. variedad Caturra Rojo. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques al azar con cuatro tratamientos y tres réplicas. A los siete meses posteriores a la siembra 24 plantas por datos se sometieron a un análisis de varianza de clasificación doble para p0,05, previa transformación de los datos y las medias fueron comparadas por la prueba de rangos múltiples de Duncan. Obteniéndose a los 50 días una germinación entre el 34,2 y 39,2 por ciento en los tratamientos con Trichoderma; la incidencia de Rhizoctonia solani osciló entre 1,7 y 7,0 por ciento en los tratamientos 2, 3 y 4, el testigo presentó hasta un 53,6 por ciento de afectación y los tratamientos 3 y 4 mostraron diferencia significativa en todos los índices morfológicos evaluados en relación con los dos testigos. Con la aplicación de Trichoderma se acelera la germinación, no se necesita aplicar Zineb y se obtienen posturas más vigorosas.

The experiment was carried out in the nursey at the Coffea Research Station at Jibacoa, in the of Villa Clara in the period from november 1999 to june 2000 at 340 meters above sea level with the aim to determine the effect of Trichoderma on the germination, in the control Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn and the devlopmet of the posture of Coffea arabica L. Variety Red Caturra. A design of randomized blocks was used a with four treatments and three replication. After seven months planting, 24 plants were evaluated for each treatment, with the main morphological indexes the data were submissive and analized to doble classification of variances to P0.05 to a previous transformation of datas and a half were compared by a test of multiples Dunkas ranks. Obtaining at 50 days a germination between 34.2 and 39.2 per cent in treatments of Trichoderma, the incidence the Rhizoctonia solani oscillate between 1.7 and 7.0 per cent in the treatments 2.3 and 4 the check presented up to 53.6 per cent of affectation and the treatments 3 and 4 showed a significat differences in all of the morphological indexes evaluated in relation with the two cheks. With the aplication of Trichoderma the germination is accelerated, it´s not necessary to apply Zineb, and it´ll obtain more vigorous postures.
