A cross sectional study shows that prevalence of Salmonella infection in finishing pigs in Aragón is 29%. Major serotypes were Typhimuriun, Rissen, 4,(5),12:i:-, Wien and Anatum. Important efforts will be required to decrease the prevalence to European levels.
