Experiments were conducted at Kwadaso, Kumasi, Ghana for 3 years to determine the optimum age of harvest of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) for high yield of dry retted fibre. Results showed that kenaf variety Ghana Type 2 gave maximum yield of retted fibre when h8lVested at 105 days of crop-cycle, while Cuba 108 produced highest fibre yield after 105 days of h8lVesting. Similarly, A63-440 yielded maximum retted fibre after I SO days of crop cycle.
