Study on agronomic characters and grain yield of chickpea lines in rainfed condition.

The present study was conducted to identify and selection desirable chickpea genotypes under rainfed condition. Therefore, production and breeding new varieties is one of main objective at breeding program in dry regions. In this survey chickpea genotypes were evaluated in, chickpea advance yield trail (CHA1T) with 9 geontypes in Shirvan and Chardavol Agri. Research Station and were compared with the local checks and arman. Selection was mainly based on the field performance and appearance. The best genotypes were selected for next season to be evaluated more precisely.
