Honey bee vemon (HBV) has been used for treating some disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, disc and spaine in juries, post.surgory pain and serious burns, exte for many years in some countris.HBV is collected by electrical stimulation, solved in a suitable solvent and sterilized through filter membrance (0.22 to 1.2,Lt m pore size). the filtrate then distributed in vials in concentration of 0.14 , 0.35 ,0.70 and 1.40 g and finally freeze-dried. Quality control tests such as Ph estimation, sterility and safety tests are examined and the results, showed that prepared HBV are steril and safe for treatment of patients. In addition some biological aspects of HBV were studied and the results are as follows: Toxicity (LD50) Of HBV (77.62 :!: 1.2pg per mouse )was tested in mice of 18 to 20 gr and calculated by Reed and Muench method. The protein estimatian carried out by lowry method indicated that the prepared HBV contains 81 :t 4.8 percent proteins. Also 2/l g of HBV hemolyses more than
