There are various methods of separation of metals from any system Viz chromatography Gravimetry and by froming a chelate ring which separates The metal From the system. Chelates are consist of a central metal ion and subsances calle.d Ligands. Ligands are The neutral molecules or anions which will surround the central metal and fonn chelatering. In present wotk DAMOTSC (ligand) is systhesized and checked by NMR and also melting point and other physico chemieal Properties have been detennined. This Ligand as reported have antiviral activity and probably acts by removing some essential from virns chelation.
