Mushroom industry in Korea has grown rapidly owing to the increase in demand during last 20 years. However, recently, the increased supply has exceeded the domestic demand for mushroom and as a result price has sharply fallen in domestic market. Exports of mushroom were attempted in order to expend the market for Korean mushroom. Currently, Eryngii, Enoki, Oyster are the major exported mushroom in Korea. There are several characteristics in the mushroom exports. First, exports are concentrated on specific countries such as Netherlands and U.S.. Second, the exported prices have continuously fallen. Third, the number of countries that import Korean mushroom has increased in last 15 years. These characteristics imply that diversification of mushroom exports has not been connected to the increase in the unit price of exported mushroom.
