Foreign varieties ('Punia' (L.multifloflorum x F.pratensis), 'Perun' (L.multifloflorum x F.pratensis), 'Felina' and 'Hykor' (L.multifloflorum x F.arundinacea), 'Lofa', 'Tapirus' and 'Ligunda') are also tested in conditions of Latvia as well as winter hardiness and crop yield is evaluated. The experimental data about winter hardiness and dry matter yield of sward varieties are displayed in figures 1 and 2.
