Impact of seed dressing on soil borne potato tubers diseases

Topsin-M, Score, Derosal and Copper oxychloride were used as tuber treatment against black scurf and wilt. Derosal and Topsim-M gave statistically significant protection against seed borne inoculum of the fungi by reducing inhibition in eyes germination and decreased sprout killing as compared to rest of the treatments. Similarly Derosal proved statistically significant to reduce the plant mortality due to Fusarium oxysporum followed by Topsion-M and Score.
