The research recognized the effect of various materials i.e. sewage sludge, ash, peat and various doses sewage and ash and peat, ash mixtures on some physicochemical properties of soil. Sludge and its mixtures application caused the highest growth of capacity of the sorption complex, contents of P, K, Mg and it caused progressive growth of heavy metal concentration. A supplement of ash and its mixtures (ash-and-sludge, ash-and-peat) increased pH. Ash was characterized by low contents of heavy metals. Peat and its mixture application caused reduction of heavy metal contents
