The aim of this research was mineral determination considering physical, water and chemical properties of soils, habitat conditions and its utilization way. Its content was significantly diverse considering soil type, its moisture ans season. The highest level of nitrate was released in peat-muck soil moderately transformed under a pasture and the least in gyttja-muck soil moderately transformed under a natural meadow.
