Mud soils are relatively poorly described in literature. The recognition of their origin on the basis of the reconstruction of vegetation is important. The investigation carried out enable to define the environment of the accumulation of mud deposits based on the plant macrofossils present in the soil. The studied soils accumulated in water-swamp environment. The strong humification makes difficult the definite determination of the vegetation connected with formation of mud soils
