Understanding the functioning and interactions of the various elements within the agro-ecosystems crucial for integral pest management. The farmers as an agro-ecosystem manager, is constantly influensing the agro-ecosystem through various agricultural technical measures. The existing balance within the ecosystem can be easily altered through such measures. This paper represents the application of agricultural-ecosystems methods, as a part of the integrated pest management in work with farmers according to the farmer field school methods.
