Protein content, nitrogen concentration at the heading stage, nitrogen concentration in straw, nitrogen harvest index, yield and yield components of twelve bread wheat cultivars were studied in three-year period. ANOVA showed significant differences among years, genotypes and nitrogen rates for all examined traits. The cultivars were divided into different groups using hierarchical cluster analysis, according to degree of similarity for examined traits. Correlation analysis pointed out the significant positive and negative correlations between examined traits. Ecological stability of genotypes for examined traits was analyzed by the AMMI analysis. Variety Pobeda singled out as the most perspective genotype because it was the most stable genotype with the high average values for protein content, nitrogen harvest index and yield, and the smallest value for nitrogen concentration in straw.
