The results of a several-year study of distribution, phytocoenological differentiation, floristic composition and structure of the ruderal flora and vegetation at Pancevacki rit and local anthropogenic influences are presented. The study includes systematized data on the overall ruderal flora of Pancevacki rit with the respective life forms and floristic elements of each species. The ruderal flora of Pancevacki rit consists of a total of 375 taxons classified into 215 genera and 51 families, and those are analyzed in detail from the chorological and ecological aspects. The study also includes analyses of similarity and affinity between the ruderal flora of Pancevacki rit and those in surrounding areas and the region in general.
