Farmers and veterinarians are asking themselves are the vaccines against IBV which are registered in Serbia really giving sufficient protection against disease. The main goal of these trials is to estimate immunogenicity and answer on this question. In most of experiments it is confirmed that the best immune answer was achieve with vaccination on the first day of life, revaccination on the 35th day of life with highly attenuated strain and the third vaccination in the age between 16th and 18th week of age with inactivated vaccine, in flocks with high level of maternal antibody titer good antibody level is achieved usually after 4 weeks after the first vaccination. Results are discussed according to immunological response in relation on adequate protection.
