This paper presents the results of the research of operating effects on stump chipping with a tractor Same Laser 150 equipped with a Rotor S device in GJ Donje Potamisje and GJ Donje Podunavlje in the area of SU Pancevo (Serbia). During stump chipping two different diameters of the drill of the chipping device were used. Diameters of the used drill were 860 and 1200 mm. The site was previously prepared, resudue from the site was removed so the stumps were clearly visible from the tractor operator cabin. Stumps of poplar and ash were subjected to chipping. The distance between poplar stumps was 5 x 5 m in GJ Donje Potamisje and 6 x 6 m in GJ Donje Podunavlje. Analysis of the obtained results showed that the chipping time considerably rises with the increase of the stump diameter. Also, the time of chipping rises with the increase of the number of passages of the drilll. Transition time and positioning time were recorded summarily.
