Influence of seed treatment fungicides on two wheat varieties, Takovcanka and Vizija, was determined by germination energy (GE) and germination (G). In untreated control, seed GE, for both wheat varieties is on the same level of significance. For Takovcanka variety, by application of all preparations, except Dividend 030-FS, attained GE was in the level of the untreated control. Preparation Dividend 030-FS significantly reduced GE of the seed (58.7%). Preparations Vincit-F, Vitavax 200-FF and Raxil 060-FS have, in comparison with the untreated control, significantly reduced GE (17-62%) of the Vizija variety seed. In untreated control, seed G for both wheat varieties is 95.3% and 91.0%, however, G of Takovcanka seed variety, compared to the Vizija variety, is on significantly higher level. For Variety Takovcanka, after fungicide application, seed G is on the same level with the untreated control, and in all cases above 90%. Seed germination of the Vizija variety is considered as satisfying, compared to the perscribed values, with the acknowledgement that with the application of Vincit-F preparation, in comparison wit the untreated control, preparations Raxil 060-FS and Mankogal-FS, a much higher seed G was attained. Tested fungicides, compared to the untreated control, regardless the wheat variety, did not affect the increase in the atypical seedlings.
