Genetic variability of 50 wheat genotypes was analyzed using 16 microsatellite markers. According to literature data, the markers associated with important agronomic traits were chosen for the analysis. Total of 111 alleles were detected, ranging from 3 in locus Xgwm601 up to in Xpsp3094. The average value of polymorphism information content (PIC) was 0,619, indicating a high level of polymorphism detected in the material. The genotypes were grouped in five clusters based on their similarity. The results have indicated wide genetic variability in breeding material and possibility for its use targeting association analysis of market-trait association.
