In the work there has been performed the analysis of loss of matter (kalo), catalase activities and reduce of fuel consumption. The tests were carried out in the DP for the production and processing of tobacco, Presevo (Serbia) and analyzed the following industrial class to: Unik 1-3, Unik 1-4, and the 3rd class. The aim of the research was to examine the average industrial fermentation tobacco regimes that are applied during regular fermentation, but with a different time from the point of loss of matter (kalo), catalase activities and reduce of fuel consumption. Based on these results there was an unequal decrease in humidity and catalase activities in the examined class of tobacco depending on the duration of fermentation. In relation to the fermented dispersal increases in all modes of fermentation and all classes of tobacco and duration of fermentation were found. It was determined that by reducing the fermentation time, the value of reduced fuel consumption compared to standard time, which directly reflects the cost of fermentation and consequently the technological and economic aspect of the production of fermented tobacco.
