Q fever are zoonotic ricketsiosis caused by Coxiella burnetii. They spread at domesticated animals, wild animals, rodents and birds. To serological diagnostic of Q fever we use two methods RVK (mRVK - cold modification) and i ELISA. At last 7 years we examined total of 1818 serum samples of sheep. At 183 (10%) samples we found presence of specific antibody against Coxiella burnetii. Numerous positive samples are from Sopot District (156) followed by Grocka (23) and Mladenovac (4). During examination of sheep blood samples we concluded that sheep flocks from Belgrade are not free against Coxiella burnetii. Those results are of great epizootiology and epidemiology importance because Q fever transmitted to human and that induces its eraditation from those areas.
