Productivity of leek (Allium porrum L.) | Produktivnost praziluka (Allium porrum L.)
2010
Savić, D.
This monograph has been prepared to show methods for nitrogen determination in every moment during vegetative period of leek crop, which was grown up on the soil. Determination needed amounts of nitrogen according to light interception; it is possible to follow leek productivity and growth process. Correlative relations were given among parameters of plant growth and leek productivity, and amount of nitrogen. Growth and productivity of leek were determined by parameters as dry matter production, leaf development, light interception, cumulative light interception, relative growth rate, net assimilation, relative leaf area. In addition, hypothetical model of growth and productivity of leek crop was given. This model is based on measurements and calculating of light interception. This model could be basement for permanent following nitrogen status in leek crop during vegetation period. Further development of this model is necessary to apply it in different agricultural crops, which could be grown under different climatic, soil and fertilization conditions, with taking care of environment.
