In the Novi Sad city, metal deposition was estimated by the occurrence of the iron-depositing bacteria in groundwater drainage distribution system of the Danube river. Depositional environment was represented by the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and water phosphatase activity analysis. Considering the dynamics of iron-oxidizing depositing bacteria similar elemental composition of the grains and stalks in piezometers were recorded. Titanium and zinc are microbiologically consumed equally, and their elemental dynamics is similar in silicon, dependent on content of aquaeus calcites and chlorides. These analyses of Ecological status suggest the usefulness of the microbial activity investigations in giving explanation of an increased microbial contamination in important sector of commerce.
