Quality of compound feed components is of utmost importance in the modern feed manufacturing. Apart from understanding and monitoring chemical and physical properties of feed, it is also important to reach and maintain standard levels of certain physical properties. Mixing and homogenization are last steps or processes in feed manufacturing. Grinding is one of the most critical operations in feed mill. Physico-chemical properties of raw material are critical determinants of mixing quality, directly impacting feed quality and resulting in the delivery of nutritionally uniform diet to the animal.
