The aim of the investigations was the possibility pf production of fresh strawberry rosettes, in mother orchard on sandy substrates. The advantage of this kind of production is obtaining fresh rosettes suitable for summer planting. The vegetative growth and quality of rosettes in eight junebearing strawberry cultivars (Fragaria ananassa Duch): Honeoye, Tethis, Chandler, Paros, Onda, Eris, Favette, and Senga Sengana were researched. The best quality of rosettes for first and second ordering was recorded with cv Senga Sengana.
