An anthelminthic Alben Forte (AF) was designed by the Scientific Center Agrovet-Ptotection. This preparation comprises oxylozanide and albendazol as active ingredients. Studied was the influence of AF on the quality of slaughter products and their biological value. The experiment involved 3 groups calves (50-60 animals in each group) spontaneously invaded with trematodas and nematodes. The animals of groups 1 and 2 AF was inoculated perorally in the form of a suspension, 1.0 and 1.25 ml per 5 kg of body weight, group 3 was control. The efficiency of AF before and after 30 days post-inoculation at the dose of 1 ml/5 kg against fasciola and nematodes was 85.7 and 100%, respectively. AF did not have a side effect. By the organoleptic quality the meat of control and AF-treated animals had no great differences. It was pale red, with a wet sectional surface with transparent meat juice. When boiled, it acquired grey color and specific flavor typical for this animal species. However, in early AF postinoculation time after 10 days weakly pronounced non-specific aroma was found by sample boiling. The moisture capacity of experimental group meat exceeded the indices of invaded animals by 3.1%, but was second to meat of control calves by 3.7%. The content of amino ammonia nitrogen in the experimental animal meat was less than in invaded ones. AF alongside with high anthelminthic activity improves the chemical composition, nutritional value and biological activity of meat.
