A new method was proposed for preplant treatment of seeds comprising the treatment with a pesticide in the form of highly dispersed condensation aerosol (HDCA) and a film-forming adsorbing polymer (AP) the molecules of which have a charge opposite the molecule charge of the active ingredient of the pesticide. The experiment involved a fungicide of thiabendazol. The quality of aerosol treatment was tested in vitro for 10 species of pathogens. High efficacy of thiabendazol was proved to be in the concentration of 0.1 g/cub. m against all pathogens, except Alternaria alternate. The efficiency of seed treatment with thiabendazol in the HDCA phase was estimated in the model system wheat – Fusarium culmorum fungus under artificial infection. As was found, under minimum concentration of thiabendazol the biological efficiency of treatment reaches 91% and greater. There are observed some advantages of using acetic acid chitosan as AP as the positive charge of its molecules and the negative charge of thiabendazol molecules even sorption and fixing particles of pesticide on the seed surface. This technology allowed reducing consumption of the preparation compared to the conventional technology by a factor of 15-30. It promoted reducing the prevalence of diseases 10 times compared to the control and twice compared to semi-dry treatment. The prospective of the new pesticide treating method of seeds is experimentally proved.
