In the scientific and economic experience meat performance of crossbreed hogg lambs was studied. It was found that hogg lambs obtained by crossing between ewes of the Siberian meat-and-wool type with rams of the North Caucasus Corridel breed were characterized by the best meat productivity. They excelled the fine-wool crossbreds by to 2.2 kg of antemortem weight (or 7.6 %), by 1.3 kg of carcass weight (11.0%), by 1.3% of slaughter output. Hogg lambs of meat-and-wool ewes had higher rates of output of meat and bone parts (by 1.1 kg, or 12,9%). Their meat had better caloric content (by 11,7%), lower water content compared with crossbreeds of fine-wool ewes. A chemical analysis showed that their meat content was 3.67% of fat and 67% of protein. Additional 1.23 kg of meat was received by 147.4 rubles under the same cost of feed
