Researcher managed experiments were conducted at Guneid Research Center Farm for two consecutive seasons (2005/2006 and 2006/2007) to test the response of the 2nd ratoon of sugarcane variety Co 6806 to nitrogen and phosphorous application in form of diammonium phosphate (DAP) in combination with urea. The treatments which included 55 and 110 kg P2 O5 / ha as DAP and 110 -219 kg N/ha as urea + DAP were compared to the control and the standard fertilization practice of sugarcane ratoon (219 kg N / ha as urea). NPK contents were determined in the index tissue. Cane and sugar yields were statistically and economically analyzed and the results support the recommendation of fertilizing sugarcane 2nd ratoon with DAP in combination with urea
