The aim of this paper is to evaluate production patterns of natural mixed forest in NNR Hrončecký Grúň. The six groups of forest types are presented on area of NNR: Fageto - Abietum, Fagetum pauper, Abieto - Fagetum, Abieto - Fagetum acerosum, Fageto - Aceretum a Fraxineto - Aceretum. Permanent research plot (100 x 500m) was established in 2008. This paper presents the partial results that were obtained by analyse of data collected on transect plot 50 x 200 m. The average number of individual per hectare was 322pcs per ha. The average volume of living individuals and the total volume of necromass were significantly high, 948.02 cubic m per ha and 325 cubic m per ha, respectively. The share of necromass volume from volume of living trees was 0.34. The considerably high values of these characteristics together with the maximal measured dendrometrical features (max. measured height of European Ash - 51.0 m, Spruce - max. diameter (d1,3) 118,1 cm and max. height 50,5 m) are pointing out to great production potential of this site.
