Investigations on species of the bruchidae family and their damage to stored legume seeds in Denizli and Uşak | Denizli ve Uşak illerinde depolanmış baklagillerde bulunan bruchidae familyası türleri ve zararları üzerinde araştırmalar

In this study, the presence of some species of the Bruchidae family, the effects of those species to the quality and quantity of the seeds, and the storage conditions were investigated in dried legume seeds taken from farmers stores in both Denizli and Uşak Provinces between the years 2001 and 2007. The study was carried out in 17 villages of 9 different towns of Denizli Province and in 23 villages of 6 different towns of Uşak Province, adults obtained from the damaged seeds were identified to belong to species of Callosobruchus masculatus (Fabricius), Acanthoscelides obtectus (Say) and Bruchus emargiantus Allard between the years 2001 and 2002. It was determined that the average number of adults in both Denizli and Uşak samples was highest in chickpea and bean samples. Average weight losses (%) in chickpea and bean samples were higher than in other legume samples. Infested samples of vetch, lentil and white pea had the highest germination percentage.

Bu çalışmada, 2001 ve 2007 yılları arasında Denizli ve Uşak illeri çiftçi depolarından alınan kuru baklagillerde Bruchidae familyası türlerinin varlığı, bu türlerin depolama koşullarında tohumların kalite ve kantitesi üzerindeki etkileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada 2001 ve 2002 yıllarında Denizli ilinde 9 ilçeye bağlı 17 köy ve Uşak ilinde 6 ilçeye bağlı 23 köyden alınan zarar görmüş tohumlardan elde edilen erginlerin Callosobruchus maculatus (Fabricius), Acanthoscelides obtectus (Say) ve Bruchus emarginatus Allard türlerine ait oldukları saptanmıştır. Denizli ve Uşak illerinden alınan örneklerden çıkan ortalama ergin sayısı, en yüksek börülce ve fasulye örneklerinde saptanmıştır. Börülce ve fasulye örneklerinde ortalama % ağırlık kaybı sonuçları da diğer baklagil örneklerinin sonuçlarına göre daha fazla olmuştur. Baklagil tanelerinin çimlenme güçlerini belirleme çalışmasında; Uşak ve Denizli illerinde bulaşık fiğ, mercimek ve mürdümük örneklerinin çimlenme yüzdelerinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.
