The study was designed to carry out as pot experiment cunducted to determine the impacts of different potassium fertilizer doses applied to corn grown under water stres on plant improvement and yield. The experiment was designed as randomized plots with three replications. In this research three different irrigation levels (100 %, 75 %, and 50 % of pot water capacity) with two different potassium doses (Control, 100 ppm K, and 200 ppm K) were applied to corn plant.The dry matter yield of root and shoot, decreased as irrigation water decreased and the dry matter yield of root and shoot increased as by increased levels of potassium as irrigation water applied decreased and decreased as potassium fertilizer applied increased.

Saksı denemesi olarak yürütülen bu çalışmada, su stresinde yetiştirilen mısır bitkisine farklı dozlarda verilen potasyum gübresinin, bitki gelişimi ve verim üzerine olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Deneme tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre dizayn edilerek, 3 tekerrürlü olarak kurulmuştur. Denemede saksı kapasitesine göre belirlenen üç farklı düzeyde (S1:%100, S2: %75, S3: %50 ) sulama suyu uygulanmış ve iki farklı düzeyde potasyum gübresi (Kontrol: 0 ppm K, K1: 100 ppm K, K2: 200 ppm K ) bitkiye verilmiştir. Sulama suyu miktarı azaldıkça, toprak üstü kuru madde verimi ve toprak altı kuru madde verimi azalmış, uygulanan potasyum miktarı arttıkça, toprak üstü kuru madde verimi ve toprak altı kuru madde verimi artmıştır.
