Determination of body composition of the loading tractor's drivers | Yükleyici traktör sürücülerinin vücut yapısı özelliklerinin belirlenmesi

English. In forestry, log loader tractors are seen as widespread. Ergonomic features such as health status and body structure of the drivers according to whether their work is appropriate is not taken into account. The purpose of this study is to determine the body composition having the important role of ergonomic harmony between log loader tractors and drivers. In this research, diameter, girth and skinfold values of tractor drivers who work in log loading in Western Black Sea Region were measured and sequentially their body mass index (BMI), body fat ratio and somatotype were determined. It was eventually agreed that the drivers are in a group according to the values of BMI (24.4) normal, according to the values of body fat percentage (9.8%) in the group is deemed to be excellent.

Ormancılıkta yaygın olarak görülen tomruk yükleyici traktörleri kullanan sürücülerin, sağlık durumu ve vücut yapısı gibi ergonomik özelliklerinin yaptıkları işe uygun olup olmadığı dikkate alınmamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ormancılıkta yükleyici traktörler ile sürücü arasındaki ergonomik uyumda önemli rolü olan vücut yapısının belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada, Batı Karadeniz Bölgesinde tomruk yükleme işlerinde çalışan traktör sürücülerinin, çap, çevre ve deri kıvrımı değerleri ölçülerek vücut kitle indeksi (VKİ), vücut yağ oranı ve somatotipi tespit edilmiştir. Sürücülerin VKİ değerlerine göre (24.4) normal, vücut yağ yüzdesi değerlerine göre (% 9.8) ise mükemmel sayılan grupta yer aldığı görülmüştür.
