Technical-economic norms for the management of irrigation and drainage have been estblished and applied in many irrgation management companies. This study proposes three methods to establish norms of electricity consumption for drainage pumping stations, including: statisical method (PP1); mathematical modeling method with calculation of total drainage water quantity based on drainage coefficient (PP2); and mathematical modeling method with calculation of total drainage water quantity based on irrigation patterns of crops and on-farm water balance quation (PP3). These methods were applied to caculate, analyze and compare caculated norms for one drainage pumping station system. The results indicate that the method 3 has outstanding advantages and the value of calculated norms are close to the electricity consumption in practice. This method is recomended to apply in reality.
