One of the main components of the maize irrigation schedule is the evapotranspiration. It, along with rainfall and other climatic factors, determines the optimum number of waterings. Based on three years' experience in the experimental station SNI Obrastov chiflik the possibility to predict the irrigation regime in maize according to the bioclimate method under the conditions of strongly leached chernozems is being checked.
