The vegetative characteristics of Tulameen and Meeker shoots, two introduced raspberry varietys, propagated for growing prebasic planting material, were studied. For this objective, special cultivation facilities, the so called SARANT-HAUS, were used to protect the shoots from a possible viral infection. Three-months period, including July, August and September, was investigated. During the propagation, the observed indices of Tulameen variety were with higher values, in comparison with those of Meeker variety.
