The investigation was conducted in the period 1999-2002 in the Institute of Agriculture, Kyustendil. The trees are from the Erdi Biotermo variety, grafted on two seed rootstocks – mahaleb IK-M9 and Droganova yellow planted at distance 5.7 х 4.0 m and shaped as free-growing crown. The experiment was carried out without irrigation conditions. The soil surface is maintained in fallow, by shallow vegetative cultivation and in fall by one fall tillage. The plant protection is applied according to schemes for fight against diseases and pests in Institute. The influence of eight variants is tested. They include three levels of pre-planting fertilization – 8 t da cow fertilizer, Р80K55/da and 15 kg cow fertilizer, 300 g triple super phosphate, 200 g sulphate of potassium in the planting holes. The balance value depends mainly on the pre-planting fertilization. The production costs are lowest in the taking in of organic-mineral fertilizer in the planting holes – 1232.44 lv/da and the highest is in the organicmineral fertilization of whole area in combination with organic-mineral fertilization in the planting holes – 2114.43 lv/da.
