The influence of fertilizers and plant growth regulators on yielding capacity, quality, and plant nutrient depletion by maize (Zea mays) hybrid Moldavskij 257 SV cultivated on sod-podzolic soils in the Republic of Belarus was studied. Research showed that application of plant growth regulator zeastimalin on the background of 40 t/ha of manure + N90P70K120 in course of three years increased the productivity of green mass of maize on 4,3 t/ha, output of dry matter - on 1,0 t/ha, output of fodder units - on 0,86 t/ha; total energy content – 18690 mJ/ha; cost effectiveness – 111%. Application of emistim С and epin caused almost the same results:yield of green mass of maize increased on 35 and 28 t/ha; output of dry matter – on 8 c/ha; output of fodder units – on 7 c/ha; output of digestible protein – on 1,7 and 1,5 c/ha; total energy content – on 14952 mJ/ha; cost efficiency – 105%
