The results of the research concerned the productivity and qualitative composition of perennial legume and legume-cereal grasses in the Republic of Belarus are presented. Galega officinalis, Medicago sativa and Lotus corniculatus were researched in self consistent grass stands and mixed with the other grasses, such as Bromus inermis, Festuca arundinacea, Ryegrass and Phleum pratense. The highest crop yield of the mono-species grass stands and the best cereal components for the mixed grass stands are determined. They are: Galega officinalis (535 centner per ha), Medicago sativa (494 centner per ha) and Lotus corniculatus (159 centner per ha). The most productive and plenteous mixtures of legume-cereal grasses are Galega officinalis, Festuca arundinacea and Bromus inermis. The highest sugar content is find out in the Galega officinalis and Bromus inermis mixture.
