The results of the research of influence of complex potassium-sodium clay fertilizers on yields and quality of sugar beet are presented. Optimal doses and terms of fertilizers application are settled. Agrochemical characteristics of the soil are shown. The crop yield of sugar beet within different experimental conditions is analyzed. Quality and technological indexes (sugariness, alkalinity, sugar output, extraction, molasses sugar loss) of sugar beet roots are presented. The research proves the complex potassium-sodium fertilizer application is an effective technological method of sugar beet cultivation. Sugar output increase 7,3-9,4 centner per ha. Utilization of the complex potassium-sodium fertilizer allows declining quantity of slime wastes, improving the structure and fertility of the light soils and receiving more qualitative production.
