On the basis of investigations conducted in the soil-climatic conditions of Grodno region (the Republic of Belarus) in 2008-2009 values of main indices of productivity process of Indian barnyard millet (Echinochloa frumentacea) (phytometric indices, dynamics of biovolume forming, coefficients of agricultural and bioenergetic efficiency) were determined. The data on energy estimation (fogger volume) of the crop was presented. On morphological indices of Echinochloa frumentaceae it is necessary to give a preference to a variant with entering N90P40K80 (the leaf area 125,5 square cm2/plant, leaf quantity 17,3 pieces/plant, a tillering capacity/potential index 4,68, a leaf share in plant weight 46,2%, plant height - 134 cm). More intensive formation of productivity of a green biomass of Echinochloa frumentaceae occurred during the period from full paniculation to milky stage of seeds on the back of N90P40K80 (the gain on 1 ha has made 183 c). Field germination rate did not exceed 71,2-74,5%, and survival rate of plants - 89,8-93,5%. The given indices insignificantly depended on mineral status. Factors of economic efficiency and indices of power value of green mass and seeds on fertilized backs considerably increased, having reached the maximum values at entering N90P40K80 (accordingly 6,9% of a harvest index, 99,6 c of a dry matter, 32,9 c of crude and 18,8 c of digestible protein about 1 ha). The obtained results showed high energy efficiency of Echinochloa frumentacea cultivation.
